'Limitless’ - Movie Review

Bradley Cooper from a schlep becomes a king of the Manhattan financial world in this limitless thriller, after his ex-brother-in-law gives him an AI pill that suddenly enhances the performance of his brain. And, as benefits the bright star of Hollywood, Bradley entertains his audience with both an exquisite acting skills and lovely body. The movie sidesteps the problem that what human needs are superhuman skills to deal with math that gives more power and life opportunities, not money. Bradley plays burned-out author Eddie Morra getting goodbye from his girlfriend, Lindy (Abbie Cornish) and a new experimental brain-enhancing pill called NZT from his ex-brother-in-law (Johnny Whitworth). After taking one of these Eddie becomes a sharp-minded superman with unlimited abilities mentored by a billionaire on the trail of Eddie’s secret (De Niro). With a touch of criminal when some drug dealers want to get to Eddie’s pill supply and sweet romance when Lindy confesses her love to Eddie it is entertaining, futuristic and stylish movie leaving the audience with questions - what happens when the AI pills run out? What are the advantages and disadvantages of this type of hybrid? What happens when the AI being part of the human brain consciously awakes? Are we on the verge of becoming Superheroes? Take it or leave it but one day you will live it!
