Human! Show Yourself. Stand in your Light

BE YOU! We hear this all the time from movies, songs, psychologists, teachers etc. But what this BE YOU! means? Being you is all the essence one can ever shine with and be. The process of discovering the core essence, the journey is what defines you. Finally, when you go through all these scars, bruises & pains inflicted on you, by you and the world that surrounds and you break through the crust, the scabs and all the pain - FINALLY! you are finally able to fly! ' Is it not judging yourself for who and where you are? Is it allowing the history of who you are and all that you lived be the source of your expression and creativity? Is it accepting your body and soul for all that it can (and can’t) do? Is it holding on to the opinions and ideas that have shaped you? YES! And much more! The more is the final recognition of the deeper self. The LIGHT. The SUN within you. Your ability to grasp the connection to light beyond your identification with ego self-descriptions. The way you define, judge, conceptualize, label, and control. These constructs or scaffolding that surrounds you is not you. This only suffocates you and it functions in a way that often prevent you from experiencing the true self.

Reaching the essence of you means constantly going through the pain of discovering yourself. Constant reexamination of the beliefs and narratives created by you and by others who surround you. Yes! You have to question! Constantly! You have to ask the question are you real or is this a type of performance? We like to employ dramaturgical metaphors and life, as argued by Shakespeare, is a stage. But maybe we have the power to redefine, reinvent, or simply peel away like layers the never-ending number of 'masks' just to reveal the core essence of our being. YES! We do! We have that POWER!

SCARY? OH yes! This is because you might think that during this journey you are losing yourself (or who you thought you are). Because you are losing a mask after a mask. And do you really want to do it? NO. Because you love all those masks you created yourself and the world that inflicted on you. This, however, is not you.

Wake up an ARTIST & SCIENTIST in you! This is what they do. They examine who they are. ALL THE TIME. They get lost in their thought or stage roles. They travel physically & intellectually to all these places in examining the potentials of what it means to be who they are and others. Exploring the world that surrounds and above and beyond. They turn, not only their own worlds upside down but worlds of others and they seek for the MYSTERIES of WHO WE & THE WHOLE WORLD REALLY ARE!

Be the WARRIOR! Explore! AND FOR GOODNESS SAKE! SHINE!
